Based in Inverness, ceramicist LaKrista Morton takes her inspiration from the landscape of the Scottish highlands around her. Looking at the elements around her which inspire her colour palettes, forms and textures. From pebble grey to a rich autumnal red, she uses the ashes of local plants, oxides and clay to create glazes that are truly part of their surroundings.
These slightly stoneware tumblers are perfect for enjoying hot drinks or even a chilled glass of wine. Finished in a pebble grey glaze which varies from matt to gloss across the surface.
