Ceramic Tile Painting Workshop With Claire Sherston | Saturday 25th January

An artist specialising in painting and ceramics, Claire Sherston will help you create your very own ceramic tile.
Gently ease into the new year and unlock your creative flow with this soothing craft. In this workshop, you’ll learn the art of painting with ceramic underglazes, exploring techniques for mixing and layering colors to create your own unique tile design. Once completed, Claire will fire your tiles in her kiln, and they will be ready for collection at our Hackney shop approximately three weeks later.
It’s a good idea to come with some rough ideas on what you might like to paint, but there will be plenty of inspiration to draw from in the workshop as well. Immerse yourself in 2 hours of painting ceramics and create something truly unique. We love to use these as decorative additions for your shelf, mantlepiece, as a tray for jewellery or as a beautiful trivet for hot dishes on the table.
Before purchasing, please keep in mind that kiln firing ceramics can be unpredictable, and there is a slight chance that pieces may incur minor damage during the process. These unique imperfections are a natural reflection of the beautiful yet delicate nature of working with ceramics.
