Megan Fatharly is a collage artist whose been featured in House and Garden, Vanity Fair and Pentreath and Hall. Her work is intricate and delicate and captures the quiet moments of everyday through layering and colour.
In this workshop you will learn how to create your own series of prints without the need for presses and heavy machinery. Explore new ways of print-making using monotypes and textured papers. In this two hour and a half workshop Meg will show you how to get to grips with mark making with ink and paper, embrace shape and pick up skills which you can translate into your own work. You'll leave the workshop with a new way to create drawings and marks, textured papers that can be applied to mixed media work and more.
Suitable for complete beginners and people wanting to gain in confidence with their creativity, learn something new and take away skills that mean you can continue exploring printmaking from home.
The workshops will last three hours and refreshments will be provided. Aprons will also be provided but please wear suitable clothing as we will be using paints and inks.
