Ceramic Tile Painting Workshop With Claire Sherston | Sunday 29th September

Specialising in painting and ceramics, London-based artist Claire Sherston will help you create your very own ceramic tile inspired by the joys of summer. 

During the workshop you will learn how to paint using ceramic underglazes, and how to mix and layer the colours to create your very own painted tile. Once your tiles are painted Claire will take them away to fire in her kiln and the pieces will be available to collect from our Hackney shop approximately three weeks later.

It’s a good idea to come with some rough ideas on what you might like to paint, but there will be plenty of inspiration to draw from in the workshop as well. Immerse yourself in an hour and a half of painting ceramics and create something truly beautiful. We love to use these as decorative additions for your shelf, mantlepiece, as a tray for jewellery or as a beautiful trivet for hot dishes on the table.

This session has 12 spaces available on Sunday 29th September 11 - 1pm at our Pophams Home workshop space next to Pophams Bakery, 197 Richmond Road, E8 3NJ
