  • Green Serving Bowl

Currently based in his Cardiff studio, Jack Welbourne gained experience both in the UK and Sweden whilst honing his skills in gas-fired, hand-thrown pottery. Inspired by traditional techniques and values, each functional piece is elevated by contemporary designs and mark marking in-keeping with the style of mid-century studio pottery. Working with locally sourced materials such as clay and wood ash he aims to capture a more earthen and elemental feel, allowing you to bring into your home a ‘living work of art’ which excites you with every use.

Perfectly suited to salads or sharing dishes, this deep bowl would also work well as a fruit bowl. Created using red Cornish clay which has been gas-fired to create a rugged and weighty stoneware piece, finished in a rustic sage green glaze.
