    Pophams Christmas Pudding

    A classic Christmas pudding with a Pophams twist, this delicious festive dessert has been fed with The Kernel London Porter and Sherry to make it rich and decadent in flavour. Serve with custard or cream or flambé at the table for a real show stopper!

    Size & Material

    Ingredients: Soft dark brown sugar, bramley apples, currants, Hokum Stomp porter, (Extra pale maris otter® malt, amber malt, chocolate malt, low colour chocolate malt, crystal 150, chit malt, roast BARLEY, naked OAT malt, torrefied WHEAT, cara gold malt), pedro ximinez sherry (SULPHITES), EGG, bread crumbs (WHEAT flour, SPELT flour, water, salt, sourdough starter (WHEAT flour, water, natural cultures, vegetable oil (refined soya bean oil)), vegetable suet, raisins, sultanas, dried cherries, dried cranberries, dried figs, self raising flour (WHEAT) (WHEAT flour, mono-calcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate), mixed peel, white condimento vinegar (concentrated grape must, white wine vinegar (SULPHITES)), orange zest, clementine zest, lemon zest, spices, salt, vegetable oil (palm oil, sunflower oil) lecithin.

    Serving directions: To heat the pudding, add a small heat-proof plate to the bottom of the pot large enough to hold pudding. Fill the saucepan with water, enough to cover 3/4 of the pudding. Put a lid on the pot and bring to a simmer for 2 hours until the pudding is warm and tender, top up the water as necessary. Turn out onto a plate to serve. Alternatively, microwave the pudding for 2.5 minutes on full power then allow to rest for 2 minutes. Microwave a second time for 1 minute then rest for 2 minutes before serving. Make sure the pudding is warm throughout.
